CANCELED - Stargazing Party at Starr Farm Park

NOTICE: Unfortunately, due to the tropical storm moving into the area this weekend, the stargazing event scheduled at Starr Farm Park for Friday, September 22nd at 7:00 PM has been canceled. Cloud coverage will be too thick for sky viewing and the Chester County Astronomical Society will work with East Bradford to schedule for another time in 2024.

East Bradford Autumn Festival

October 22nd at East Bradford Park (12:00 to 4:00 PM) - 835 Kenmara Drive, West Chester, PA 19380

Take an afternoon to celebrate the season with family, friends and neighbors at East Bradford Park and experience the unique fabric that makes East Bradford Township a great community in which to live! Food and beverages will be offered for purchase by local establishments based in the community, including beer, wine, and mead (honey wine) products; free trees will be offered to the community and kids activities will be offered for families. The Galena Brass German Ensemble will provide entertainment and ambient music for the enjoyment of all! Entry to this event is free to the public.

Introduction to Orienteering

November 11th at Harmony Hill Nature Area (10:00 AM) - 1200 Skelp Level Road, Downingtown, PA 19335

The Delaware Valley Orienteering Association will host an introductory (beginner) level orienteering event at Harmony Hill Nature Area where participants will learn all about the sport of orienteering as they navigate and seek to conquer a beginner's course set up in the park. Registration is required through the Delaware Valley Orienteering Association website and is free.
