Zoning Hearing Board Applications

 

The following Zoning Hearing Board applications are currently under review.  If you have questions or would like additional information, please contact  Zoning Officer Andrea Campisi at acampisi@eastbradford.org or (610) 436-5108 x110.  You can also learn more by attending the Zoning Hearing Board hearings, which generally (but not always) occur as needed on the 3rd Monday of the month.  Hearings are advertised in the Daily Local News and are posted on the calendar.

 

1180 Copeland School Road (Herr/Barbeau Property) – A variance application to construct a detached two-car garage and an extension of the existing driveway. The following variances are needed:

  1. 115-45.3D.1, to permit earth disturbance and the construction of an accessory structure within Riparian Buffer Area 1.
  2. 115-45.3D.2, to permit earth disturbance and the construction of an accessory structure within Riparian Buffer Area 2.
  3. 115-42.E.3.a, to place fill in the floodplain.

The hearing was held on October 18, 2021. The application was approved and the Township is awaiting receipt of the written decision from the Township Solicitor’s office.

753 Warwick Road (Hazard Property) – A variance application to construct a porch on the front of the existing home that encroaches into the building setback line. The following variance is needed:

  1. 115-23.B.6 – to permit to the proposed front porch to encroach into the required 50 foot building setback line.

The hearing was held October 18, 2021. The application was approved and the Township is awaiting receipt of the written decision from the Township Solicitor’s office.

885 W. Miner Street (Buchner Property) – A variance application to construct a proposed addition and patio at the rear of the existing home. The following variance is needed:

  1. 115-45.3D.2 – to permit the addition and patio to encroach into Riparian Buffer Area 2.

    The hearing is scheduled for November 15, 2021 at 7 pm.

919 Lenape Road (Finnerty Property) – An appeal from a Notice of Violation issued by the Township for a bridge that was constructed in the floodplain without the proper permit. In the alternative, the applicant seeks the necessary variances from the East Bradford Township Zoning Ordinance to allow the bridge to remain.

The hearing is scheduled for November 15, 2021 at 7 pm.
